“ONE VOICE”

Part Two

God is establishing His theocratic government here on earth by filling the hearts of men, one by one, with His glorious Presence- till all men are governed by only ONE VOICE! Exclusive rulership of a righteous God will one day be the guiding principle of every man’s existence.

Hear these declarations in Ps 29:3-10:

“The VOICE OF THE LORD is upon the waters!:

Surely the God of glory thunders and the Lord is
upon many waters.

The VOICE OF THE LORD is powerful!

The VOICE OF THE LORD is full of majesty!

The VOICE OF THE LORD breaks the cedars!
Yes, the Lord breaks the cedars of Lebanon; and
He makes them skip as a calf. He makes Lebanon
and Sirion as a young unicorn.

The VOICE OF THE LORD divides the flames of fire!

The VOICE OF THE LORD shakes the wilderness!
The Lord shakes the wilderness of Kadesh.

The VOICE OF THE LORD makes the hinds to calve,
He discovers the forests.

And everyone in His temple speaks of His Glory!”

           We know that we are the temple of the living God, but do our innermost thoughts seek only and speak only, of His glory; or does our carnality still savor and supplant His glory with our own?
            Ah, here is the Good News prophesied in Isa 11:9-10,

“The day shall come when no one shall do harm or destroy in all My holy mountain:
for the earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea!
In that day, there will be a Root of Jesse which stands as an Ensign for the people-
and even the heathen will seek after it; and His Rest (Sabbath) shall be glorious!”

            Jesus Christ is this Root of Jesse, whose Ensign (standard, banner) is the now-empty cross on which He was “lifted up on the earth” that He could “draw all men” to Himself! (Jn 12:32) When men’s hearts are persuaded that their sins nailed their Creator-Savior to a Cross, they will forsake their sinful, separatist, self-seeking, self-righteous, soulish lives to enter His Rest and learn that “His Rest is glorious!” Man is deceived to think his self-works are glorious when it is only as we rest in His perfect Finished Work that we experience His Eternal Glory! God’s thoughts which “are higher than our thoughts, just as the heavens are higher than the earth” (Isa 54:16), shall fill every heart and mouth with the Spirit of His Holiness. His anointing helps us to “Cast down every imagination and every high thing that exalts itself against the Knowledge of God- bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ! Then when our obedience is fulfilled, we will be ready to execute justice and avenge all disobedience!” (2 Co 10:5) Scripture warns that no thought of man is concealed from God, as every heart and mind is an open book to Him! We may claim that we only seek His Will in all things, but if our hearts persist in satisfying our self-will, it is no secret to Him who looks on the heart, and not our outward appearance!
