“HAVING BEGUN IN THE SPIRIT”

“Not by MIGHT, nor by power, but
by My Spirit, says the Lord!”(Zec 4:6)

Part 8

           Every believer needs to hear this message because it goes to the very heart of salvation! It is the reason that these sharings are sometimes delayed. The Lord clearly told me at the onset of this ministry that this Work began in the Spirit, and must not be perpetuated by the flesh! How can Life be maintained by Death? God’s sons must learn to restrain themselves till the Holy Spirit speaks!

“To whom will you liken Me? Who is equal to Me? Lift your eyes on high
(in the spirit) and see Who has created all things...Have you not known,
haven’t you heard that the everlasting God, the Lord and Creator of all
the ends of the earth, does not faint, nor does He grow weary? There is
no searching of His understanding; yet He gives power to the faint, and
He increases strength to them who have no might. Although the youths
become weary and faint, and the young men utterly fall, they that wait
upon the Lord shall renew their strength!! They shall mount up with
wings as eagles; and they shall run (in the spirit), but never get weary;
and they shall walk (in the spirit), but never faint.” (Isa 40:25-31)

           God’s Word is not a dead epistle that is written in ink on paper, but a Living Gospel that is engraved upon the fleshly tables of the heart by the Spirit of the Living God! The New Testament is not some dead letter that kills, but is the Living Word that quicken the spriit to life! God’s Word is an ANOINTED WORD that impels a heart to seek, and trust, and obey the sovereign Will of God! It is a REVEALED WORD that negates our self-sufficiency, and affirms the Sufficiency of God! (2 Cor 3:3-6) God’s Word is not always as forthcoming as impatient hearts would demand, but it is always worth waiting to hear; since “Faith comes (alive) by hearing, and hearing comes (alive) by the Word of God!” (Ro 10:17) Such a Word gladdens, heartens, and inspires Godly works!
            But the Word of God also chastens and corrects! Jesus says, “Man does not live by Bread, alone; but by every Word of God!” (Lk 4:4) Now Jesus Christ is the incarnate Word of God who says, “I am the Bread of Life”(Jn 6:35) that nourishes, edifies and fortifies the human spirit; To the obedient heart, I am a “Rock of Salvation” (Ps 89:26); and a Precious Stone of great worth! But, to the disobedient heart, I am a “Stone of stumbling and a Rock of offense”(1 Pe 2:7-8) that must fall on (your disobedience) and grind (your disobedience) into fine powder! (Mt 21:44) Only a cruel and unjust God would leave His beautiful creation in the destructive hands of sin and death! He swears by the highest possible authority- Himself- that He will save this lost world; and He will, by every means at His infinite disposal. Jesus asks us, “Which of you, if your son asked for bread, would give him a stone?” (Mt 7:9) This is a great revelation, dear ones, that we do well to consider!
            God speaks forth two kinds of Words- life giving and death giving! As La 3:38 says, “Don’t both good and evil proceed from the mouth of the Most High?” If this shocks you, hear this declaration of suffering Job to his unbelieving wife who just told him to “Curse God and die” because, in one day, their ten children, and great wealth, and most of their servants, were wiped out, “Shall we receive GOOD from the Hand of God, and not also receive EVIL from God’s Hand? IN ALL THIS, JOB DID NOT SIN WITH HIS LIPS!” (Jb 2:9-10) Then God says in Isa 45:7, “I form the Light, I create darkness, I make peace, I CREATE EVIL! I, the Lord, do all this!”

God has not revealed to most Bible translators the Truth that He controls all interplay
of good and evil in this world, nor do they understand what God has already revealed
to many sons“who love, and are called by God- that ALL things (both good and evil)
work together for good!” (Ro 8:28) For this reason, they have a problem translating
those Scriptures that contain the word, “evil”. They cannot conceive of God having
any association with evil. But in our next episode, we shall illuminate this revelation
and other great Truths relating to this subject.
