HINDS’ FEET IN HIGH PLACES
Part 17
“He makes my feet like hinds’ feet,
and sets me on my high places!”
(2 Sa 22:34)
When this says God will “set ME on MY high places”, it does not mean my flesh nature, shall be exalted; rather it addresses the Christ Nature in me! Paul said, “I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live- yet NOT I, but CHRIST LIVES IN ME! The life I now live in the flesh, I live by the Faith of the Son of God Who loved me and gave Himself for me!” (Ga 2:20) Our humanity thrives on self-aggrandizement, so any reminder that “The flesh profits nothing” (Jn 6:63) stirs up a firestorm of angry denial among carnal-minds. The natural man is only content if he observes his own reflection in the religious doctrines he espouses. But that is the problem, dear ones; because it is only supposed to be Christ’s glorious reflection that we see in His Word! Isaiah, was set straight in this regard as we see here in Isa 6:1-12.
“In the year that King Uzziah [Heb 5818 “Strength of Jah”] died,
I saw the LORD sitting on a throne, HIGH and LIFTED UP ,
and His train [Heb 7757 “the hem of a skirt”] filled the *temple!
[*And“YOU ARE the TEMPLE of the Living God!” 2 Co 6:16]
Above the Lord’s Throne stood the seraphims: each had six
wings- two that covered the face, two that covered the feet, and
two that were used to fly. One seraphim cried to another saying,
Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of
His glory! And at the sound of the voice of the one who cried out,
the door posts moved, and the house was filled with smoke!
Then I said, Woe is me! I am undone because I now realize
that I am a man of unclean lips, and that I dwell in the midst of a
people of unclean lips: since now my eyes have beheld the King,
the Lord of hosts!!
Then one of the seraphims flew to me carrying in his hand a
live coal he had secured from the altar with tongs. He laid that
live coal on my mouth, and said, See, this has touched your lips
so now your iniquitous now taken away, and your sin is purged!
Then I heard the Lord’s Voice saying, Whom shall I send?
Who will go for us? I answered, Here am I; send me! He said,
Go then, and tell these people, You hear, but do not understand;
you see, but cannot discern. Then the Lord said, now make the
hearts of these people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut
their eyes; lest they can see with their eyes, hear with their ears,
and understand with their heart, and be converted and healed!.
Then I said, Lord, how long must their condition remain?
He answered, Until the cities are wasted with no inhabitants,
and the houses are without a man, and the land is completely
desolate, and the Lord has removed its men far away so that
there is a great forsaking (of faith) in the midst of the land.”
These passages hold much spiritual “meat”, not the least of which is in the last paragraph which makes it evident that NO MAN CAN SEE, HEAR, OR UNDERSTAND GOD’S WORD TO BE CONVERTED AND HEALED UNTIL GOD OPENS HIS SPIRITUAL EYES, EARS AND HEART! Till God opened Isaiah’s eyes to see the King and Lord of hosts, he had no idea he was “a man of unclean lips”, nor did he realize that he lived among “a people of unclean lips”! God ordains that mankind must remain in spiritual darkness until the hour when His Light of Truth is ready to be revealed to, and in them! THIS DECISION IS GOD’S ALONE, AND CANNOT BE APPROPRIATED BY MAN’S SELF-WILL! Poor, foolish natural man of whom God states, “cannot receive the things of the spirit” (1 Co 2:14); for he is being deceived by illusory doctrines that exalt the flesh man above the Throne of God! For when God is said to have created a people with the ability to decide their eternal destiny- even denying the Giver of their own breath of life; mortality and corruption are elevated above Immortality and Incorruption! But hear this if you can,
ONLY SATAN’S LIE WOULD DARE TO CLAIM THAT
ETERNITY COULD BE FOWLED BY THE STENCH OF
SIN AND DEATH BURNING IN AN ENDLESS HELL--
WHEN THE WORD OF GOD CLEARLY PROCLAIMS:
“DEATH IS THE L-A-S-T ENEMY TO BE D-E-S-T-R-O-Y-E-D!” (1 Co 15:45)
And what is “death”? Ro 8:6-7 declares,
“To be carnal-minded is death” and so
“death is the enemy of God!” Therefore,
EACH MAN’S CARNAL MIND IS THE
“LAST ENEMY TO BE DESTROYED!!”
Rev 20:13-15 adds, “...DEATH AND HELL DELIVERED UP
THE DEAD (carnally-minded) IN THEM; AND THEY WERE
EACH JUDGED ACCORDING TO THEIR WORKS!”
But what does that mean? 1 Co 3:13-15 says,
“Every man's work will be clearly seen when the
*DAY declares and reveals it by *FIRE!! For
the Fire will test each man's works to see what
kind they are (flesh or spirit). If a man's work
survives the fire...he will receive a reward, but
IF HIS WORK IS CONSUMED BY FIRE,
HE WILL SUFFER LOSS HOWEVER HE,
HIMSELF,SHALL BE SAVED BY FIRE!!”
*This declaring “DAY” is the “Daystar that arises in our hearts!” (2 Pe 1:19)
He is the “Day of Christ” (Php 2:16) that says,“I am the Light of the world!”
(Jn 8:12) He is the Son of Him Who is “The all-Consuming Fire!” (Dt 4:24)
The sole purpose of God’s final Judgment is to separate the “wheat” thoughts
(and deeds) produced by the spiritual mind of Christ, from the “tare”thoughts
(and deeds) produced by each man’s carnal mind! The “tares” must be burned
by the Holy Fire of God’s Pure Righteousness, while the “finest of the wheat”
must be stored up in the silos of heaven, called the “High Places” of God! And
when that great harvest is finished and there is no further need for any correction
in the hearts of God’s people, “DEATH AND HELL ARE THEN CAST INTO
THE LAKE OF FIRE” (Re 20:14)
Jesus first told His disciples, “You prepare the Way of the Lord” (Mt 3:3); then later He promised, “I go to prepare a place for you, so you may be where I am!” (Jn 14:2) Where is that? “Thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits Eternity, and Whose Name is Holy, I live in the High and Holy Place with him who has a contrite and humble spirit; for I revive humble spirits, and revive contrite hearts!” (Isa 57:15) So if we desire to be “lifted up” into the Exalted Presence of our Creator-Savior, we must “humble ourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift us up!” (Isa 4:10) But remember it is actually CHRIST- GOD’S HOPE OF GLORY IN-US that is being lifted up! Selah (pause and calmly think of that)!
The spirit grieves for believers who have been seduced and deceived by lying doctrines that have puffed up their carnal minds more than edifying Christ’s spirit Mind! Such doctrines have led multitudes of sheep astray; but, thank God, they can not roam too far away for the Good Shepherd to find them and bring them back home! Hallelujah!
