Part Thirty-two

THE HARVEST HAS BEGUN!!

“Death and Life are in the power of the tongue; and
you shall eat the fruit of the one you love!”(Pr 18:21)

           From what does fruit originate, but a tree? From what does a tree originate, but a seed? And from what does a seed originate, but God? Applying these truths to our text, we see that before one could ever “eat the fruit” of death and Life, there had to be the “seeds” of death and Life! In His powerful Parable of the Sower, Jesus declared, “The SEED is the WORD OF GOD!” (Lk 8:11) Gal 3:16 adds, “God’s made promises to Abraham and his SEED! He does not say to SEEDS- as of many; but to ONE SEED which is CHRIST!” This means Christ is God’s Word-Seed by which He spoke all Creation into being! That is why Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life”; (Jn 14:6) He knew that only by the Word-Seed of God, Himself, Eternal Life could be perpetuated! What “crop” did God expect to harvest from His Precious Seed? Hear His own declarations.

“There shall be a sure reward to Him that SOWS RIGHTEOUSNESS; and as RIGHTEOUSNESS TENDS TO LIFE, so then everyone that pursues evil, pursues death!” (Pr 11:18-19) “But RIGHTEOUSNESS DELIVERS FROM DEATH!” (Pr 10:2; 11:4)

“ALL THE WORDS OF MY MOUTH ARE RIGHTEOUSNESS; there is nothing perverse in them; they do not deny Truth!! They are plain to him who has understanding; also they are right to them that find knowledge [“which is Eternal Life” Jn 17:3].“ (Pr 8:8) “He that SPEAKS TRUTH manifests RIGHTEOUSNESS!!” (Pr 12:17) “All who are peacemakers sow in peace the FRUIT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS!” (Jas 3:18)“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God!” (Mt 5:9) And “The children of God are His Good Seed!” (Mt 13:38)

English grammar is one of many subjects required by my secular profession as private tutor so an improperly constructed sentence draws my attention. The last verse says God’s “children”- a plural term, are His “Seed”- a singular term! By this we can only reach 2 possible conclusions: either God is an inept Grammarian- and that is impossible; or just the ONE Christed Word-Seed contains A-L-L children of God! This means that ALL are in ONE, and that ONE is CHRIST!! Jesus substantiated in His prayer to the Father just before His betrayal by Judas saying,

“I do not only pray for these disciples I now have, but also for all them WHO SHALL BELIEVE ON ME (that includes us) through the Word of these disciples; that THEY MAY ALL BE ONE even as You, Father, are in Me and I am in You; so they may be ONE even as We are ONE. I have given them the Glory You have given Me, that they may be ONE just as We are ONE! So it shall be * I IN THEM, and You in Me, that they may be made Perfect as ONE; that the world may know You have sent Me to show that You love them, as You love Me!!” (Jn 17:20-23)

[*This was clearly a prophetic revelation for no man of flesh and blood can be “I-N” another flesh and blood person!! Therefore Christ was projecting Himself beyond His forthcoming, momentous Crucifixion, Death and Resurrection, to where He would once again be fully in the SPIRIT where He could inhabit, and be “IN” all men!]

Paul reveals to all men,

“Your (true, eternal) life is HID with Christ in God!” (Col 3:3)

Pr 25:2 adds this revelation,

“It is the Glory of God to hide a thing but
it is the honor of kings to search it out!”

           So only “kings” get the honor of searching out the Life God “hid” with Christ in Himself; but who are these “kings”? Rev 1:6 reveals, “Jesus Christ has made ‘US’ (His Children) KINGS, and also priests, to God, His Father! To Him be all glory and dominion forever and ever, Amen!” How does one recognize these kingly, priestly children of God? Our next few episodes will present a detailed profile of these beloveds ones.
