Part Fifty-two

“LO and BEHOLD”

“Guarding our garments” (Q)

                Mary was truly “blessed among women” to bring the Christ Child into the world; but she was not chosen because she was a sinless being- for she was a living soul, clad in flesh and blood, and just as in need of her Innocent Son’s redemptive Blood-covering as the rest of mankind! She had to raise up, then release, her Son to be the Sacrificial Lamb slain for the sins of the world! Any mother who loves her child would be devastated by such a heart-rending experience. But Mary was not the first woman to surrender her son to the madness of carnal-minded men! Israelite mothers suffered this when “Pharaoh charged all his people, See that every son born (to Hebrew slaves) is cast into the river; but spare the daughters.” (Exo 1:22) When a son was born to Levi’s daughter, she could not bear to drown her unusually beautiful son; so she hid and nursed him for 3 months. When she could no longer hide her son, she devised a plan to save his life- that technically adhered to Pharaoh’s edict! She did cast her son into the river; but safely concealed in a tiny ark - fashioned from bulrushes; and made watertight by a covering of bitumen and pitch. So Jochebed could tell anyone who asked, with a clear conscience, that she had cast her son into the river! This ark serves as a type for God’s Armor of Anointing (Eph 6:13) which secures His people as He launches them out on the river of life! Divine Wisdom allows believers to seemingly submit to carnal constraints; while actually submitting to Eternity’s Objectives!
                 The carnal mind will vainly continue to seek and destroy each “Deliverer” or “Savior” that God sends into the world to rescue His people from their sin and death. With the birth of Moses, He surpassed all previous revelations of His Wisdom; by not only saving His future “deliverer” from Pharaoh’s death decree; but by hiding him in Pharaoh’s own palace to be raised by his own daughter, who risked her life to save this Hebrew manchild! Nonetheless, when she found the babe floating in the ark and heard him cry, her heart was filled with compassion for his life. More mercy was shown to Jochebed as she sent Moses’s sister, Miriam, to Pharaoh’s daughter to offer to find a Hebrew wet nurse to suckle the child. Not only did she agree but, unbeknownst to her, she allowed Moses’ true mother to nurse her own son; and paid her wages to do it! This meant that Jochebed could keep and love her son till he was weaned- which, may have been the age of 2 or 3! Of course, it must have still been painful when she had to surrender her beautiful son, once and for all, to the care of his step-mother; but she had to find peace in knowing that if her son had been drowned with the other male infants, he’d have been dead to her anyway. At least, she was blessed to have him for the first few years of his life- and most mothers would agree that those early, fragile years are the most precious in her memory.
                 The bloody scenario of infanticide was replayed during Mary’s pregnancy; for King Herod had convinced himself that the coming Messiah would threaten his throne, since oracles called Him King of kings! Herod ordered the slaughter of all Hebrew males- 2 years and under; but this time, no chance was being taken of a slip-up, so it was decreed that Herod’s own soldiers would perform the assassinations! This precaution might have worked...BUT GOD!!! First, Caesar Augustus was driven by greed to tax the entire, known world; and to accomplish this, a census was decreed which required all men to return to their origin of birth! This sent pregnant Joseph and Mary to Bethlehem where, as we know, she gave birth to the Lord of Heaven. Then Joseph was given a dream warning of Herod’s perverse plot; and directing him to get Mary and Jesus out of Nazareth and into Egypt!!
                 In this, God provided “garments” of protection for His Begotten Son and the mother of that child! Today a far more insidious infanticide of epic proportions has been launched in the world in a vain attempt to abort the new Manchild being birthed in the earth! This many-membered Body of Saviors (Obadiah 21) is nonetheless safely emerging from the womb of the true, hidden church; despite outside efforts to end her pregnancy! False mothers [of organized religion] frantically abort any Seed of Kingdom Revelation sown in the wombs of their souls by the Spirit of Truth! The idea that God’s Will retains total (betimes, covert) power over man’s self-will is vehemently rejected! Declaring the True Gospel that Jesus Christ is the successful Savior of the world is repudiated by pastors- and their puppet congregations- as a doctrine of devils!

[But think about it, beloveds! Who is the only one with everything to lose if Christ really can save His Father’s beloved world from sin and death? Can we not see that only the satanic carnal-mind would reject this Truth? THE MIND OF CHRIST WOULD ONLY EXALT THIS VICTORY!]

The final frontier of all false doctrine is satan’s favorite lie- an eternal hell! Men never stand more naked in the sight of God then when they cling to the concept of everlasting torture and pain being inflicted on the souls of men that God sent His only begotten Son to a bloody Cross to save!
                 This masterpiece of Scriptural misunderstanding is man’s filthiest garment of self-righteousness! It contradicts the very Name and Nature of “Unconditional Love” (Agape) of our omnipotent God! But time will eventually tell the Truth for all to hear and rejoice, to the Glory of the “Savior of all”!
