Part Thirty-five

The Super Highway (II)

Continuing with excerpts from the wonderful study, “Eagle Saints, Arise”, written many years ago by a beloved brother, Bill Britton, who has since gone home to glory, we hope it has been a source of inspiration and edification for all our readers.

[Besides having keen inward vision- called discernment..] true eagle saints also have sharp. clear vision outwardly and the enemy cannot penetrate their defenses. JESUS is the perfect example and pattern; no one ever deceived Him with smooth, flattering words. No pious hypocrite ever survived under that piercing gaze. Even one of His own disciples was filled with the [thoughts of the] devil but. Jesus was not deceived! No matter that [Judas] was one of the leaders, and had cast out devils in the Name of Jesus his innermost thoughts and intents were made manifest in the sight of the great Captain of Eagle Saints!! This is a safeguard God has provided for His Church!! See how the man and his wife [read Acts 5:1-11] brought their deceitful gift to the Church expecting to share equally with the others but unwilling to consecrate ALL as the others had done. [They held back some for themselves- despite the fact that God had commanded the early church to “Have all things in common by selling their possessions and goods and distributing that accumulated revenue to all men as they had a need.] Was that Church body deceived? No, for the Eye of the Eagle was there, “beholding afar off”!! So their sin was discovered and Judgment came!! [One after the other, Ananias and Saphira both dropped dead right at the feet of the Apostle Peter; and Fear of the Lord fell upon all the church!] Hypocrites and sinners “dared not associate themselves with these holy members of the church”, for all the secrets of men’s hearts were made manifest [to the all-seeing eyes of Christ]. What a glorious testimony!! 1 Cor 14:25 declares that this operation is for (today’s) church, even to be a part of every service, if necessary! For the Bible says when an unbeliever comes in your midst, the saints will speak out [in LOVE] the very secrets of his heart, “Thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and thus, falling down on his face, he will worship God and report that God is truly in you!” Do you see such as this in the local churches now? Not often. But I tell you of a truth, beloved, it is coming!

EVEN NOW, EAGLE SAINTS ARE BEING PUSHED
OUT OF THEIR “NESTS” AND ARE LEARNING TO
MOVE IN [HIGH AND HOLY] HEAVENLY PLACES!

             You understand, of course, that I am not speaking in a natural, carnal sense as though people’s bodies will be flying around in the sky like UFO’s. How foolish. Yet people seem unable to grasp what it means to be “caught up to heavenly places IN CHRIST [that is, in the Anointing of the Spirit of Holiness]!” But it will happen. Then shall this world see the greatest manifestation of God in human flesh since our Lord Jesus, Himself, was here upon the earth!
             My time and space are gone and there is still so much to say concerning eagle saints; but I must say say just one more word. Dt 28:49 and 2 Sam 1:23 both speak of the eagle’s swiftness saying, “As swift as the eagle flies”! This is characteristic of that great bird. Another verse refers to how, “the eagle hastes to its prey!” (Jb 9:26) Joel [OT prophet] says, “They shall run like mighty men!!” Apostle Matthew says, “The coming of the Son of man will be as the lightning that shines out of the East to the West...for...there shall the eagles be gathered together!” (Mt 24-27-28)

             YES, GOD WILL DO A QUICK WORK AND HE WILL USE HIS EAGLE SAINTS WHO ARE QUICK TO HEAR, QUICK TO BELIEVE AND QUICK TO OBEY!! THE TIME IS AT HAND! THE CALL IS GOING FORTH! TURN LOOSE EVERY HINDRANCE OF EARTH AND CAST ASIDE EVERY WEIGHT, AND RISE WITH THE WINGS OF EAGLES INTO HEAVENLY PLACES WHERE YOU BELONG! GLORY TO GOD, HALLELUJAH!” [End quote]
