Mine Eyes Have Seen the Glory (J)

O, let us see the Glory
Of the Coming of the Lord;
And let us see the loosing
Of Your terrible, swift Sword!

Your Sword of Truth is ever in
The firm grasp of Your Hand;
Its golden glint in battle
Is a blinding firebrand!

This wondrous Sword is double-edged,
It wounds as well as heals;
Its forestroke cuts away all flesh,
Its backstroke soothes and heals.

Cut faster, Father rid the flesh
To set Your people free;
Reveal Your Spirit Image neath
Our flesh mortality!

Trample out the vintage
Where our grapes of wrath are stored!
Let us only seek the holy
Vengeance of the Lord!

March on, March on, O Truth of God!
Be heard in every land;
Reveal the secrets of the Lord
So all can understand!

You’re sounding forth Your trumpet
That shall never sound retreat;
You’re sifting out the hearts of men
Before Your Judgment Seat.

Your Light of Love and Truth will judge
The darkness in each heart;
The Daystar will arise within
Your Glory to impart.

The time of Harvest has arrived,
You’re storing up Your Wheat;
You’re burning up our worthless chaff
To make our lives complete.

No more the double-mindedness,
No more the vain confusion;
No more our self-willed rulership;
And no more sin intrusion!

Just Holy Love and Purest Truth
Will sit on heaven’s throne,
As King and Queen of Heaven
They shall live by Bread, alone!

Come home, you errant sons, make haste!
You prodigals, return!
The hour is come to gather in,
There’s much you have to learn.

The door is closing to the Ark of Sonship
For this hour,
So enter in while there is time,
And be endued with Power!

The world awaits the Gospel of the Kingdom
We must bring;
Repent and seek your first True Love,
Your Savior, Lord and King!
