“Sleeping Beauty” [Q]

“The Purpose of Dreams” (10)

               How often do people wonder why they do and say the things they don’t mean to do or say? Worldly news and Biblical history alike are rife with accounts of erring souls who “didn’t know what they were doing” at the time they committed thoughtless, inhumane or even heinous things! Is such a thing possible? Can a man SIN and “not know what he is doing”? That would mean he was in a trance at the time! And SO HE IS! Gen 2:21 says, “God cast Adam into a deep sleep” and the words, “deep sleep”, are also translated in Heb 8639 as “trance”!! Jesus Christ, the last Adam, confirmed this from His bloody Cross. He looked at the many-membered Adamic body and cried, “FATHER, FORGIVE THEM, THEY KNOW NOT WHAT THEY DO!”
                So the question remains, why do we do “the wrong things we don’t really want to do”; and why can’t we do “what we know is the right thing to do”? This puzzler vexed Apostle Paul as well. (Ro 7:18) Perhaps we can find the answer to this age-old trouble in Job 33:14-28.

“GOD SPEAKS TO MEN- FIRST ONE WAY, THEN ANOTHER- BUT MAN IS UNAWARE OF IT BECAUSE IT IS IN A DREAM- IN A NIGHT VISION AS DEEP SLEEP (Heb 8639 trance) FALLS ON MAN AS HE SLEEPS ON HIS BED! GOD OPENS MAN’S EARS AND SEALS HIS INSTRUCTIONS (for life) EVEN TERRIFYING HIM WITH WARNINGS THAT CAN WITHDRAW MAN FROM HIS (CARNAL) PURPOSE AND OVERRIDE HIS PRIDE! HE HOLDS BACK HIS LIFE FROM THE PIT OF DESTRUCTION AND KEEPS HIS LIFE FROM PERISHING BY THE SWORD! HE CHASTISES MAN WITH PAIN AS HE SLEEPS IN HIS BED! HIS BONES ARE FILLED WITH STRONG PAINS TILL HE COMES TO LOATHE AND REJECT ALL NOURISHMENT (offered him by this world) EVEN THE FINEST OF FOODS! FINALLY HIS FLESH IS CONSUMED AWAY TILL IT CAN’T BE SEEN SO HIS BONES STICK OUT! YES, HIS VERY SOUL DRAWS NEAR THE GRAVE AND HIS LIFE IS READY FOR THE DESTROYERS.

BUT IF A (GUARDIAN) ANGEL- WHO IS ONE IN A THOUSAND- IS WITH HIM, WHO IS ALSO AN INTERPRETER OF DREAMS WHO CAN SHOW HIM THE WAY TO UPRIGHTNESS; HE WILL GIVE HIM GRACE SAYING, DELIVER THIS ONE FROM GOING DOWN INTO THE PIT FOR I HAVE FOUND A RANSOM (the Sacrificial Lamb)! SO THEN HIS FLESH WILL BE RESTORED TO BE FRESHER THAN A CHILD’S AND HE SHALL RETURN TO THE DAYS OF HIS YOUTH! HE WILL THEN PRAY TO GOD WHO WILL ANSWER FAVORABLY! THIS MAN WILL SEE HIS FATHER’S FACE WITH JOY AND BE BLESSED WITH HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS! THEN AS GOD LOOKS UPON MEN, IF ANY SHOULD REPENT SAYING, ‘I HAVE SINNED AND PERVERTED THAT WHICH RIGHT BUT IT PROFITED ME NOTHING (for “the flesh profits nothing”), GOD WILL DELIVER HIS SOUL FROM SINKING INTO THE PIT, AND HIS LIFE WILL SEE THE LIGHT! GOD REPEATEDLY DOES THESE THINGS WITH MAN TO REDEEM HIS SOUL FROM THE PIT THEN HE MAY BE ENLIGHTENED WITH THE LIGHT OF THE LIVING!”

“In (Jesus Christ, the Word of God) was Life; and that Life was the LIGHT OF MEN! The Light shines in (men’s) darkness, but his darkness cannot comprehend it...He (Christ) is the True Light that LIGHTS EVERY MAN THAT COMES INTO THE WORLD!” (Jn 1:4-5, 9)

During Sonship disciplines, most feel as David, “See how the ungodly (nature) prospers in the world and increases in riches! It seems I cleanse my heart and wash my hands in innocence for nothing, as all day long I am smitten and every morning I am chastened! If I talk about this I offend Your generation of children! I tried to reason it all but it was too painful for me U-N-T-I-L I ENTERED THE SANCTUARY OF GOD AND I UNDERSTOOD the ending of the ungodly (nature). For You have set them in slippery places and then cast them down into destruction! And how are they brought to desolation? In a moment they are totally consumed by terrors! O LORD, I SEE THAT ALL IS AS A DREAM (that seems so real) FROM WHICH ONE AWAKENS! And when Y-O-U AWAKE (in every man- and take notice of the evil one that beleaguers him so), YOU WILL DESPISE (and destroy) HIS IMAGE!” (Ps 73:12-20) It is only when God’s sons “Enter the Sanctuary of God” that we can understand this Good News! So “enter in” beloveds!
