Take My Life, and Let It
Be
By Francis R. Havergal
& William B. Bradbury
[From time to time we feature anointed lyrics
of some time-honored songs of Faith]
Take my life, and let it be
Consecrated, Lord, to Thee;
Take my hands, and let them more
At the impulse of Thy Will.
Take my feet, and let them be
Swift and beautiful for Thee;
Take my voice, and let me sing
Always, only, for my King.
Take my silver and my gold
Not a mite would I withhold;
Take my moments and my days,
Let them flow in ceaseless praise.
Take my will, and make it Thine,
It shall be no longer mine;
Take my heart, it is Thine Own,
It shall be Thy royal throne!
Lord, I give my life to Thee,
Thine forevermore to be! Amen.
O Father, let these words be the prayer of every believers
soul!
Grant us to be robbed of all things carnal and profane
by
the Holy One Who comes as a Thief in the Night to steal
every heart and carry them away to the Kingdom of Love!
Strip us bare before men, but clothe us in Your Presence
with Garments of Praise and Robes of Righteousness!
Amen and Amen!s all understanding". ( Php
4:7 ) So let your labor be only to share Gods holy
REST!! Amen.
