here can be no doubt in any mind we are living in the prophesied "Perilous times" when, "People will be LOVERS OF THEMSELVES, self-centered, lovers of money, with a greedy LUST FOR WEALTH (from Gk 2142 euporia- whose alpha-numeric values add up to 666), arrogant, contemptuous boasters, abusive, blasphemers, scoffers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural human affection, callous, truce-breakers, false accusers, proud, slanderers, troublemakers, intemperate, loose in moral conduct, uncontrolled, fierce, haters of goodness, betrayers, LOVERS OF PLEASURE MORE THAN LOVERS OF GOD; HAVING A FORM OF GODLINESS, BUT DENYING THE POWER OF GOD!!"(2 Tim 3:1)
                 Of whom is God speaking that have "A form of Godliness but deny its Power"? It is the propagators of manmade religion fashioned from manmade tradition that "Transform themselves into angels of light". (2 Cor 11:14-15) These systems are so interwoven with fact and fancy, there is no "Sure Word of Prophecy" in them anymore. (2 Pet 1:19) There is no Solid Rock-Word on which today’s frightened nations can build Houses of Faith! Religious followers of various persuasions avow that their spiritual sanctuary is "THE true one", but the fact is, none are! Each man’s heart is his only Haven of Hope if the King of Glory is enthroned there! The Spirit of Truth will indwell no other Temple! Jesus Christ told the Pharisees they were in error for not knowing the Scriptures; but Himself being raised a Jew, He knew without question that the Pharisees spent day and night studying and memorizing Scriptures! What He was revealing here was the fathomless gulf between studying and memorizing the letter of God’s Word, and really knowing the Spirit of His Word in the Biblical, conjugal sense!!
                 God imparts His Sperm-Word of Immortal Life through intimate intercourse between His Spirit of Truth and each man’s Bride-soul! When we surrender ourselves to this chaste union, we "receive" with joy our Bridegrooms’s Seed of Life in this personal relationship! Thus we shall "conceive" that Word of Love in our hearts, carry it to fruition, and birth His Manchild in our lives!
                 A natural, reluctant Bride is called ‘frigid’. For her, the act of intercourse is dreadful and painful so her fears make her rigid and unyielding. She may enjoy the title of "wife" as a status symbol among her peers; but she and her husband know that theirs is only a "form of marriage" which "denies the fulness thereof"! These wives are often nicknamed "Married spinsters"! And so it is with many who accept Christ’s Name as "Christians" to be "saved from hellfire"; but when the time comes to enter the Bridal Chamber for love-making with their Bridegroom, they are refused because their lamps (eyes, vision) have no oil (Anointing) to see the "Beauty of His Holiness"; for "Without Holiness, no man can see God!" (Heb 12:14)
                 Since many in today’s religious systems are "Ever learning, but never able to come to the Knowledge of the Truth" (2 Tim 3:7); they shall miss the first call of the many-splendored thing of Love’s supreme fulfillment! This does not mean they will never come to know this wedded bliss, but for now they will have to go back to buy Oil of Anointing for their lamps. These are being used as a lesson in loving trust like the fearful Israelites who could not enter the Promised Land! There is no place in the Mind of Love for thoughts of doubt, fear or unbelief; which is why we are told to "Cast down our carnal imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the Knowledge of God; and bring every thought into the obedience of Christ; and when your obedience is fulfilled, be ready to revenge all other disobedience!" (2 Cor 10:5-6) For "Jesus learned obedience by things He suffered!" (Heb 5:8) In fact, "He humbled Himself to become obedient unto death!!" (Ph 2:8)
