The Mind Reader

n this day of advanced technologies in electronic surveillance, man is becoming more and more deprived of his privacy. Even his secret thoughts now seem to be an unsafe refuge from apparent ‘paranormal’ advances being unleashed. What with spies and psychics abounding everywhere, man’s (so-called) "free will" is being exposed as the fallacy it is. How free is the will of anyone whose very thoughts are able to be tapped? As a matter of fact, how free is a will that could get the world into the mess it is in today? Man is in for quite a jolt when he learns there is a far more formidable "Intruder"of his thoughts than mere carnal"snoops and soothsayers! He would do well to learn of HIM as did so many illustrious forefathers.

Noah learned that "GOD SAW the wickedness of man was great in the earth; and saw every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually." ( Gen 6:5 )

Solomon learned"THE LORD searches all hearts and understands every imagination of the thoughts!" ( 1 Chr 28:9 )

Job learned "LORD, You can do all things; no thoughts can be withheld from You!" ( Jb 42:2 )

David learned "THE LORD knows the thoughts of men, that they are vanity (i.e. vain, empty and futile- as only a breath)!" ( Ps 94:11 )

David also learned "LORD, You know when I sit and when I rise; and You understand my thoughts even from far off. You encompass and search out my path; and You discern when I go out and when I lie down. You are acquainted with all my ways."

Isaiah learned "THE LORD knows their works and their thoughts!" ( Isa 66:18 )

"Jesus, Knowing the thoughts of the Scribes and Pharisees, said to them, Why do you think evil in your hearts?" ( Mt 9:4 )

"Jesus knew the thoughts of the Pharisees!" ( Mt 12:25 )

"Jesus did not entrust Himself to (any man) because HE KNEW ALL MEN! He did not need for any one to inform Him about men, for HE KNEW WHAT WAS IN MAN! ( Jn 2:24-25 )

"The WORD OF GOD (Which is JESUS CHRIST) is alive, powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword! It pierces and divides asunder the soul and spirit; and the joints and marrow .
(HE) IS THE DISCERNER OF THE THOUGHTS AND INTENTS OF THE HEART! Not one creature exists who is hidden from His sight!! All things are open and exposed, naked and defenseless to the eyes (understanding) of Him with Whom we have to do." ( Heb 4:12-13 )

Beware, weak man, when you flaunt your puny self-will in the face of an all-knowing, all-seeing God! You should forever be on your knees in thanksgiving that, "GOD IS LOVE"! ( 1 Jn 4:7-8 ) And furthermore that this almighty and glorious One is "Longsuffering toward us and NOT WILLING FOR ANY TO PERISH; but that ALL SHOULD COME TO REPENTANCE!" ( 2 Pet 3:9 ) For surely "He knows that our frame is but dust!" ( Ps 103:14 ) Be grateful, sinful man! "God only IMPRISONED ALL MEN IN UNBELIEF so He could extend MERCY ON THEM ALL!" ( Ro 11:32 ) It is written, "His Mercy endures to all generations!’ ( Ps 136:1 ) Amen.
