[Part Forty-nine]

“SEALS OF GOD”

                What does it mean to be “sealed” by God? There are two connotations: 1) to be sealed into a secret, secure place for preservation; 2) to be sealed away from outside elements and influence!! God is now calling His sons to ENTER INTO THE ARK OF CHRIST which means they are to be sealed into the Mind of Christ! They shall no longer think as natural men; but shall see things only through enlightened eyes of understanding! Should serpentine thoughts from the mind of flesh try to slither into the “garden” of their souls, such thoughts will be instantly rebuffed and rejected for their thoughts will be sealed away from carnal minded unbelief, that darkened understanding of the old adamic nature, also called the fox, dragon, deceiver, adversary, enemy, baal, devil, and satan- to name but a few of his evil epithets. Hear these Words of our Savior.

“Stop toiling, laboring and producing for the meat that perishes, rather labor for the Meat that lasts unto everlasting Life which the Son of Man shall give you; for God has empowered, certified and put His Seal of Authorization on Him. Then the apostles asked Jesus, ‘How can we work the ‘Works of God?’ Jesus replied, THIS is the Work of God: that you BELIEVE ON THE ONE HE HAS SENT (and the Works HE DOES and already has done)!!” (Jn 6:27-29)

                What is the Seal God set on His Son, Jesus Christ- and all sons of God? “It is the sign of circumcision, the Seal of the Righteousness of Faith, that Abraham received before he was even circumcised (in fleshly type) by which he became the father of all who believe- even though they are not yet circumcised, so Righteousness could also be imputed to them.” (Ro 4:11) This circumcision cannot be applied to the Bride Church since females are not circumcised! It refers to Sons of God! As the Church and Manchild are comprised of men and women, it must speak in spiritual terms!

“In Christ, the whole fulness of the Godhead dwells in bodily form, and you are in Him!Thus you are complete in Christ as you are also filled with the Godhead and reach fullspiritual stature. He is the Head of all rule, authority, principality and power. In Him you were also circumcised with a circumcision not done with (human) hands; but in aspiritual circumcision performed by Christ which strips off your body of the flesh- the whole corrupt, carnal nature with its passions and lusts. You were circumcised when you were buried with Him in baptism, and raised with Him to a new Life by faith in theWork of God as He raised Him up from the dead. You were dead in trespasses and in the uncircumcision of your flesh (that sensuality of your sinful, carnal nature) but Godbrought you into Life together with Christ, forgiving all our transgressions; cancelling, blotting out, wiping away the handwriting of ordinances against us, totally removing it from our way by nailing it to Christ’s Cross, disarming every principality and power against us, making an open show of them, triumphing in Christ!” (Col 2:9-15)

                But isn’t this circumcision, this seal of the Righteousness of Faith, just for Jews? Hear this. “He is not a true Jew who is one outwardly; not is the true circumcision outward in the flesh! Rather a true Jew is one inwardly; and true circumcision is of the heart, in the spirit, not the letter of the Law! (Ro 2:28-29) Celebrate this divine Seal, beloveds! But there is still more!
