“BELIEVING THE UNBELIEVABLE” [A]

                To a flesh-minded man, it seems like a simple thing to pick up a Bible, read about God, then thinking he has all pertinent knowledge about the Creator of the Universe, he may go and join the nearest religious organization and thereafter call himself a “believer” in Christ. But to all of these self-deceived ones, I would offer some salient facts of Life (Eternal Life, that is)! One may think he knows the God of all because he has perused the outward “letter of the Law” in the Scriptures, but such mental exercise does not necessarily mean he has ever met the Father, Son or Holy Spirit, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Nor does it mean he has yet seen or heard Living Truth which Divine Wisdom has safely sequestered in symbols and parables in the Holy Scriptures!
                 Only the Life of Jesus Christ (lit. the “Anointing that Saves”) operating in each individual can re-open the heart’s blinded “Eyes of understanding” (Eph 1:8) enabling us to understand His Mysteries of the ages. Heart blindness imposes an iron yoke of unbelief on every man, and only the “Saving Anointing breaks the yoke” and reveals Enlightened Mysteries to our darkened world.

“In the (riches of His Grace) God has abounded toward us
in all Wisdom and Prudence, having made known to us
THE MYSTERY OF HIS WILL.” (Eph 1:7-9)

Did you know that even God’s Will is a divine Mystery? Natural man can never know or do the Will of God if he cannot even know what is that Sovereign Will! He may try to second-guess what he thinks or feels is the Will of God, but he cannot know it for certain! Because God is a Spirit His Mysteries are necessarily spiritual as well; which means His Mysteries can only be ‘solved’ by the discernment (Godly understanding) of the Man of Spirit,- the Christ- that lies dormant in us all!
                The word, mystery (mysteries), appears 27 times [27 = preaching of the Gospel] in the NT but not even once in the OT! Its Greek word, musterion, (3466) is defined: ”To shut the mouth; and also a secret (through the idea of silence as is imposed by an initiation into religious rites).” Another word, muopazo, (3467) stems from this same root (in conjunction with optomai, meaning: “To stare or gaze at something remarkable with wide open eyes!”) Together they are defined: “To shut the eyes, to blink as indistinctly, and CANNOT SEE AFAR OFF!” This is used once.

“Divine Power has given us all things that pertain to His Life and Godliness, through the Knowledge of Him Who has called us to Glory and Virtue; whereby exceeding great andprecious Promises are given to us so by these you might become partakers of His DivineNature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust! And besides this,using all diligence, add virtue to your faith, knowledge to your virtue; temperance to yourknowledge; patience to your temperance; Godliness to your patience; brotherly kindness to your Godliness; and add charity to your brotherly kindness! For if all these are in youand even abound in you, then you shall not be barren or unfruitful in your Knowledge ofour Lord Jesus Christ (“Eternal Life”, Jn 17:3). But he that lacks these things is blind and cannot see afar off and forgotten he was purged from his old sins!” (2 Pe 1:3-9)

Blinded spiritual eyes that “cannot see afar off” in the heavenlies made all men “FORGET they are already purged from their old sins!” What a revelation! Although the Blood of the Lamb has “TAKEN AWAY (expunged, eradicated, utterly destroyed) THE SINS OF THE WORLD” so in God’s eyes, SIN NO LONGER EXISTS AND IS HELD TO NO MAN’S ACCOUNT, the blind eyes of the “evil heart of unbelief” wherein God shut up (imprisoned) every man, have been caused to “FORGET he has already been purged from his old sins”! Thus, God has but to awaken each sleeping soul; open all blinded eyes, restore every lost memory, and all will gladly repent, that is, accept and embrace their renewed understanding of Divine Truth! For “The Truth (the Son) shall make you free; and if the Son sets you free, you are free indeed!” (Jn 8:32,36) So you see, it is all up to God who does and doesn’t believe in the saving work of His Son Jesus Christ! It has never been an issue of whether or not all men are saved, but at what time God permits them to remember they are saved by the purging away of their old sins! This restoration of our memory also restores our spiritual “far off vision”as evidenced by the returning prodigal’s father. [please see: Lk 15:20]
