[Part Fifty-eight]

“SEALS OF GOD”

                Believers in Christ should not be deceived or ruled by the dictates and confines of TIME, as we know “Our true Life is hid with Christ in God” and the realm of Christ and God is INFINITY!
                Everything that originates from God was created for the pleasure of God, which means He sees it all through the eyes of eternity! Every mortal being who inhabits a frame of dust has an immortal soul that had its inception in God’s creative substance! Every man’s finite flesh is the thought-product of God’s Infinite Spirit! Numbered sequences in Scripture are not necessarily a tally of chronological events, but a coded scale denoting the progressive work God is doing in the lives of His people! This is indeed true in the numeric succession of the seven days of creation in the Book of Genesis, and the seven seals of God in the Book of Revelation. In this Alpha and Omega of Scripture, we see a perfect overlay of God’s glorious workmanship as it is accomplished in His children. Here is where an understanding of Bible numerics is a great advantage in learning what the Spirit is doing!!

[1 = unity] “The Lamb opened the first seal” (Re 6:1) The 1st day of creation: “God divided the Light (Christ is the “Light of the world”! Jn 8:12) from the darkness! Light and Darkness were ONE ENTITY before being divided into two opposing elements! David said to God, “Darkness and Light are both alike to You!” (Ps 139:12) Here we see the “Adam” divided into a dual being called the First Adam and Last Christ-Adam, that it could be fulfilled “First is the natural man, then later comes the spiritual man.” (1 Co 15:44-46) “The first (Adam) will be last (to receive any eternal reward) and the Last (Adam) shall be first (in all eminence, honor and glory)!!”

[2 = witness; martyr] “The Lamb opened the second seal” (Re 6:3) On the 2nd day of creation: “God divided the waters under the firmament from the waters above the firmament.” The waters under the firmament represent:“Peoples, multitudes, nations and tongues”. (Re 17:15) Jesus called the Waters above the firmament “Rivers of Living Waters” (Jn 7:38) But all waters typify words; and Jesus Christ, the Word of God, was martyred to redeem all seditious words of man allowed to bear false witness against Truth Himself)! Generations of good and evil people spring from the loins of the fallen Adam prophesying of a coming Messiah!

[3 = divine completion] “The Lamb opened the third seal” (Re 6:5) On the 3rd day of creation: “God gathered the waters under the earth into one place and let dry land appear (“The rebellious live in a dry land”. Ps 68:6) He called the dry land, Earth; and the gathering He called, Seas; and said, ‘Let the earth produce grass, herb with seed, and fruit bearing trees with seed.” Christ is all 9 Fruits of the Spirit! “The Seed is the Word!” (Lk 8:11) “The Seed is Christ !” (Ga 3:16) This is the completion of the creation of terra firma. The stage is set for the appearance of Christ’s birth!

[4 = creation] “The Lamb opened the fourth seal” (Re 6:7) On the 4th day of creation: “God made the sun, moon and stars in the heavens to rule over the day and night; and divide light from darkness.” Creation was now ready as a habitation to sustain life form. The Light of the World made His appearance in a manger in a stable as a special Star shone in the sky over Bethlehem!!

[5 = grace] “The Lamb opened the fifth seal” (Re 6:9) On the 5th day of creation: “God filled the waters with fish and whales; and the heavens with winged fowl saying, ‘Be fruitful and multiply.” These creatures typify thoughts in men’s souls (waters) and spirits (heavens). Christ initiated the Word of Life only to be challenged by the Word of Death of the Antichrist! And the Lamb of God slew that Word of Death on the Cross to make all men free from it!

[6 = sin-weakness] “The Lamb opened the sixth seal” (Re 6:12) On the 6th day of creation: Here the beast of the earth (representing the beast nature of carnal man) is raised up to challenge the Christ nature in man! Also, the first “Man” is created and divided into male/female counterparts! The Heb. word (120) for man here is the same given for “Adam” who is made in God’s image. This man and beast symbolize the Wheat and the Chaff commanded to grow up together; and to be fruitful and multiply till the time of the harvest!

[7 = perfection] “The Lamb opened the seventh seal” (Re 8:1) On the 7th day of creation: God rested from His Creation Work and blessed and sanctified the 7th Day! The Last Christ Adam is here perfected and ready to be manifested as a MANY-MEMBERED MAN sent forth to redeem the whole earth for the glory of God! “One day with the Lord is as a 1000 years; and 1000 years is as a day!” (2 Pe 3:8) Six days (6000 years) have been completed and the Christ and Antichrist are ready to square off! WE ARE NOW ENTERING THE GLORIOUS SEVENTH DAY!!
