[Part Fifty-two]

“SEALS OF GOD”

Have you ever made a promise to anyone? Have you ever received a promise from anyone? Were those promises always honored? Oddly enough, unholy men refer to a promise as sacred! They regard it as being dishonorable to break any sort of oath. They say, “My word is my bond”; or “I give you my word (pledge); or “A man is as good as his word (vow)!” See how they equate a man’s word with his promise! These two things are deemed synonymous by carnal-minded men!
                God’s Word is also His Promise!! But His Word truly is a Sacred Pledge, Oath, and Vow! And to whom has God given His Word as a Promise? First and foremost, to Himself! He has sealed in Himself His Bond of Glory that guarantees the success and fulfillment of all His Creation Work! The fact that His Perfect Plan includes the negative realm of death, darkness, destruction and devils in no way discredits or daunts the ensured outcome! There is nothing in heaven or earth that could ever do that! The second recipient of God’s Word of Promise is to His very creation! He has pledged to every atom of its existence that it shall all redound to His Glory! The unseen element in all the chemical components of our universe is the Seal of God’s Promise of ultimate prosperity for which He purposed it from the beginning! The Bond of God is also encapsuled in these Words:

“THE EARTH IS THE LORD’S
AND EVERYTHING IN IT IS THE LORD’S;
THE WORLD IS THE LORD’S;
ALL THAT DWELL IN THE WORLD ARE THE LORD’S!”
(Ps 24:1; 1 Co 10:26)

“GOD IS KING OF ALL THE EARTH!
HE IS A GREAT KING OVER ALL THE EARTH!
HE REIGNS (and always has) OVER THE NATIONS!”
(Ps 47:7, 2, 8)

“In the dispensation of the fullness of times,
God shall gather all things together in Christ!
He shall unite in Christ everything in heaven and in earth!!
For it is in Him that we have obtained an inheritance - for
we were predestinated according to the PROMISE of Him
Who works ALL THINGS after the Counsel of HIS WILL!
He does this so we who first trusted in Christ should abound
to the Praise of HIS GLORY! You trusted Him after You
heard the Word of Truth- the Gospel of your Salvation!
And after you believed in Him, you were Sealed with
that Holy Spirit of Promise- the earnest of our
inheritance until the redemption of the
purchased possession, and the
praise of His Glory!!”
(Eph 1:13)
