                God said He brought about the conflict between Moses and Pharaoh (Exodus 6 thru 33) for the sole purpose “THAT THEY MAY KNOW I AM GOD!” Pharaoh’s own words were used to instigate the plagues on Egypt , “WHO IS THE LORD that I should obey His Voice and let Israel go? I DO NOT KNOW THE LORD!” (Ex 5:2) Today’s world (apart from the true Body of Christ) is in the same state of unbelief with its two factions of irreligious deceived, and the religious deceived “Who have a FORM of Godliness but deny its Power!”(2 Ti 3:5) Both groups are vexed by our earth’s plagues. [For the benefit of those ”ostriches” who ask “What plagues?” we are referring to all the: fires, floods, famines, earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, pestilence, insects, pollution of air and water (natural types of spirit and word); violence and mass destruction everywhere!] God’s reason remains the same for allowing these things:

“THAT THEY MAY KNOW I AM GOD!”

                It isn’t mere head-knowledge that God seeks from His people, rather a deep, abiding, spiritual union with Himself! This is His Purpose, Plan, and Promise for all mankind. Jesus wants “Brethren who shall dwell together in total unity with Him!”(Ps 133:1) For this cause He declares: “As the natural body is ONE FLESH BODY with many members...so also is CHRIST! For by ONE SPIRIT we are all baptized into ONE SPIRITUAL BODY...that is not just one member but MANY!” (1 Cor 12:12-14) The Body of Christ is a many-membered Father, Mother, Sister, Brother, Creator, Redeemer, Husband, Savior, Lord, King and GOD! [Read for yourselves: Eph 4:1-13) What does it mean to be “one” in Christ? It is a union of such intimacy as to BE His very own BODY! Natural Brides share a special union with bridegrooms whose times of intercourse have a beginning and an ending. Children share a special union with their mothers in the womb, but their gestation period of total dependence also has a beginning and an ending. But when people share Christ’s very BEING in a union of HEAD and BODY, their relationship has no beginning and no ending! However, even if such a thing were possible, Christ’s “Body ” would share the same point of origin as His “Head”! But the fact is Christ always “Was and is and is to come”!! (Rev 11:17) Christ (both Head and Body) personifies God’s Resurrection power!! Of course, the soulish, flesh life of Jesus had to have a start and a finish, but His Spirit-Life had no beginning and no ending! And as men come to *know the quickening Spirit of Christ, they are thereby *endued with that same Resurrection Power!

*KNOW (Heb 3045 yada) has many meanings; one is “ENDUED WITH”, as seen in 2 Chr 2:12: “Hiram (Heb 2438- “Whiteness, white linen”) King of Tyre (6865- “Rock, stone”) said, ‘Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, Maker of heaven and earth, Who has given King David (Heb 1732- ”LOVE”) a wise Son (Solomon, Heb 8010- “PEACE”) *ENDUED WITH understanding and prudence, who shall build a house for the Lord and a house for his own Kingdom.”

*ENDUED (Dict. def) “TO BRING IN, INTRODUCE, INDUCE, TRANSFUSE AND TO PUT ON” (as Col 3:10, “PUT ON THE NEW MAN (Christ Nature)!”

                When the Lord proclaims to mankind His intent that we must come to KNOW He is the Lord our God, He is saying “I want you to PUT ON, be ENDUED WITH, and TRANSFUSED WITH My Immortal Life!” And as Jn 17:3 declares, “Eternal Life is to KNOW the only True God and Jesus Christ whom God has sent!” ONENESS with our great God comes through INTIMATE KNOWLEDGE with His Divine Nature! Thus He says, “BE STILL (Heb 7503: “Be weak; cease”) and KNOW (be convinced)“I” AM GOD!’(Ps 46:10) Then when you are fully CONVINCED, you shall be caught up in Christ to share in His glorious GODLINESS!!
